FORSPARK / A little help for your space
Small ideas for everyday gatherings.

Plan counter seating around clearance, kitchen work areas and the way you use the space each day.
Measure before choosing a stool
Measure from the floor to the underside of the counter, then compare that height with the selected stool's seat height. Check room for knees and feet, and leave a clear route behind occupied seats.
Leave a place for something shared
A clear corner for coffee or a small plate can be enough to invite a conversation. Keep the areas needed for preparation and movement available, especially when several people use the kitchen at once.
Let the routine guide the arrangement
For quick breakfasts, keep a clear place for a plate and an easy route to the seat. If people sit nearby while someone cooks, keep seats outside the working area. Check the stool's footprint and the room needed to get on and off before deciding how many seats to add.
