FORSPARK / A little help for your space
Give conversation a place to begin.

Plan a seating layout around three things: who sits together, where everyday items go and how people move through the space.
Let seats face the conversation
Turn chairs toward the people they will be used with. On a patio, try facing a pair of chairs toward the sofa, then sit in each position to check the view and conversation distance. Keep doors and access paths clear.
Keep everyday things within reach
Leave a clear place for a cup, a book or a shared plate. Keep the route into the group open so another person can join without everyone needing to move.
Choose seating for the setting
At a counter, check both seat height and the space behind an occupied stool. Outdoors, measure chairs and sofas individually when choosing covers; a coordinated seating arrangement does not mean every piece takes the same cover.
